FGC Ikom Alumni Association
The full institutional website for my secondary school’s alumni association. Twenty-plus sections, an admin area, and donations.
Federal Government College, Ikom is where I was Deputy Senior Prefect and where I captained the robotics team. Building its alumni association a real platform was a way of giving something back to the place that started it.
- 01Over twenty routes: chapters, sets, events, news, blog, gallery, donations, membership, constitution, roll of honour, board of trustees, national executives
- 02Admin area behind an auth gate, with the development bypass force-disabled in production builds
- 03Builder.io as the CMS, so the association edits its own content without needing me
- 04Forms validated end to end with React Hook Form and Zod; server state through TanStack Query
- 05Playwright end-to-end tests, Testing Library unit tests, MSW to mock the API
- 06Husky and lint-staged, so nothing unformatted or unlinted reaches the repo
Real institutional software has real stakeholders. Donations, member data and a public constitution mean the failure modes actually matter, so this is the project where I invested in tests and CI discipline instead of shipping on vibes.
